PrYSM Youth organizers, leaders, and volunteers join other Providence organizations to protest unjust immigration laws in the United States. PrYSM stands against deportation law which does not allow full due process rights. At this protest - on May 1, 2009 which is international worker's rights day, aka "May Day" - PrYSM highlighted how immigration law is homophobic, and discriminates and rips apart gay and lesbian couples, by not recognizing their love, their civil union, or even their marriage (even if they were legally married in another country that does accept gay marriage).
