If you don't know me, I am the product of Japanese and Caucasian love. (My Mom was borrowing a type-writer from her friend, but her friend lent it to "some Japanese guy".. long story) and born and raised on the East Coast (outside of Washington, D.C.). I came up to Providence, RI to attend college at Brown University. While at Brown, I met Sarath Suong, who really did change my life around. He told me about the struggle that he and his family had to go through- escaping the Khmer Rouge, living in refugee camps, and being forced to adapt to a new life style. We started meeting Southeast Asian youth around Providence and they really wanted to change things in their community. I'm a Pisces, born on March 18, 1979 (its actually the same day that the United States (FBI) installed Lon Nol as a "puppet" president to control Cambodia) and I'm one of the few people in the PrYSM community who can claim they were born in the 1970s. That might surprise you, because although I'm old, I'm still cute.

Favorite Meat Eats: Scallops, Squid, Octopus, Clams, Crabs, Snails, Oysters, Fishies, Sashimi (especially Salmon and Superwhite Tuna), Roasted (slow roasted) Duck, Turkey (but only the dark juicy section),
Favorite Snacks & Treats: Yams (baked and buttered), Japanese Pizza (thats your regular pizza but with seafood on top!), Tacoyaki (that's a fried juicy doe ball with octopus, and you better have napkins when it gushes out when you bite into it), Gyoza (Japanese dumplings), Momos (Tibetan dumplings with Goat meat! Juicy, hot, and dripping), Sag Paneer (thats spinach with chunks of CHEESE),
Favorite Fast Foods: Pizza UNO, McDonalds (its 360 degrees of difference than BK or Wendys),
Favorite Carbs: Portuguese Bread, Sticky Rice, Indian Naan, Grade A Sushi Rice (the real deal only), Chinese Pastries, Arab Pastries, yeah, I guess French Pastries as well. Okay, a few, but not all, of Indian pastries! Fried Mochi Ice-cream balls, Carrot Cake, Cheese Cake, Neopolitans, Wandis (they are angel wings lightly covered in powdered sugar), French Crullers, Kakigori or the Cambodian version of Ice-ees
