The Queer Southeast Asian Caucus is a historic convening, bringing together Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Southeast Asians, to be held on August 14 in Seattle, WA. This one-day caucus to bring together LGBTQ Southeast Asian leaders to identify needs and issues, build new relationships, reflect on leadership, and plan a communications strategy to create a national network of Queer Southeast Asians.

Caucus Goals
The Queer Southeast Asian (QSEA) Caucus will bring QSEAs from around the country to share and address the issues affecting their lives, recognize the diversity within our community, unite around common issues, brainstorm for building a national SEA network, and talk about how we can serve as a strong member of the National Queer API Alliance (NQAPIA). The Caucus is a four-hour session that will include the presentation of results from the 2009 Queer Southeast Asian Census, dialogue on shared experiences and needs, a mapping project to identify where our communities are located, and a planning session on building a national network for Queer Southeast Asians.
